Things I've written that I really want to remember

Sometimes the Lord sends us a raft and we miss it because we were looking for a yacht.

Serendipity, I think that's what life is...a series of happy, surprising, fun things with a little bit of drama mixed in.

When you are in the moment of creating, the space you are in becomes a vortex of ribbon, trim, twine, tape, glue, fabric and thread.

Quilting is an amazing process of tricks and shortcuts that in the end fool the eye into believing it must have taken years.

There will always be downs after the ups on this roller coaster ride. The thing I must remember, when my stomach is in my throat, is my view from the top and all of the endless possibilities I saw from the top.

It's good to change things up....move things around....
somehow the same old brick-a-brack moved to a new place invigorates the creative soul.
